President Edgar Lungu has directed for heightened measures aimed at curbing the escalating number of Covid-19 cases with pre-school, primary and secondary schools closing for 21 days.

Announcing the measures in Lusaka today, Secretary to the Cabinet Simon Miti said the President has directed that this is subject to review, inspection and certification depending on how the pandemic evolves.
